Nicola Veronico, waste management, disposal and recycling
Nicola Veronico started a waste management business in 1974 in compliance with the applicable laws in force, and is an integral part of national bodies, such as COOU, COBAT, Conoe, operating mainly in the Italian regions of Puglia, Basilicata and Molise. It boasts two storage and processing plants in Modugno (BA) and Ascoli Satriano (FG) and has also been awarded UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 14001 certification and EMAS registration.
The many services offered include the collection, transportation, storage and processing of special waste, both hazardous and non, technical and administrative support, safety and ADR regulations consultancy.
The pride and joy of the Modugno site is the mineral oil and oil emulsion storage plant, which is where Pieralisi contributed by introducing technological innovations, including the possibility of processing mixed waste, such as water and oil emulsions with new machinery, succeeding in separating the two components to recycle them both.
Thanks to the commitment of qualified technical staff, following years of studies into increasing the efficiency of the process of separating mineral oils from emulsions, Nicola Veronico and Pieralisi have achieved remarkable results.
The collaboration continues, in search of continuous improvements.
