Kohler & CIA, quality and technology in an environmentally-friendly way
With a production capacity of 50 tonnes a day and installed in an industrial estate spanning more than 12 square metres in the centre of Guabiruba, Kohler & Cia is one of the largest dyeing and printing works in the state of Santa Catarina in Brazil. A new unit spanning more than 15 thousand square metres has just been built in the Pomerania district.
Since it was founded in 1949, Kohler & Cia has always focused on doing business in an environmentally-friendly way and preserving this great value for future generations, i.e. nature and its most important natural resource: water.
Kohler is therefore responsible for preserving waterways, developing effective actions and investing in improvements. It is no coincidence that the company invested in Pieralisi decanters which, in addition to their outstanding performance levels, afford direct benefits for the environment, by reducing the footprint of the business itself.
Due to an increase in production, Kohler purchased the latest Pieralisi decanter - a Maior 3 HS - in 2014. It was the first of the new-generation HS to be installed by a company in this industry in Brazil. These new technologies implemented by Kohler have led to a reduction of nearly half its water consumption for the dyeing process.
Boasting 65 years of experience, Kohler & Cia is a traditional, yet at the same time innovative and creative company, aiming to grow and develop more and more with the awareness and sustainability of an increasingly colourful world, satisfied customers and a committed team. Pieralisi is in fact excited about how Kohler continually trains its employees, keeping them up-to-date on how decanters work and paying due diligence to their preventive maintenance, thereby extending their useful lives, improving the quality of both the equipment and their process.
