Magnum 2: story of a revolution
The success story we’re about to tell takes us to the Netherlands, where Pieralisi has had machinery for manure for more than 15 years. The investment made by the Dutch company Verkooyen sets a world record in being the first to purchase the Magnum 2 centrifugal extractor and having taken it to the Netherlands.
The soil here is basically not very fertile so it needs manure, which cannot be spread in an unlimited way since it contains unusually high levels of phosphorus and nitrogen. Considering this requirement, the Magnum extractor was the perfect compromise for separating solid residue from liquid residue, with the main objective of reducing excess phosphate in the liquid. This allowed farmers to fertilize their land while remaining within the limits of local regulations.
Since Pieralisi joined the manure and sludge digestion market, about 15 years ago, the company has acquired a leading role in this field. Thanks to the first fixed machine installed at a farm, the market has successfully grown and expanded from fixed to mobile plants.
This change encouraged Pieralisi, along with its partner EPM Automation, to design a mobile plant solution, which can be moved each time to the desired location, so that pumps, crushers, power supplies, etc. are always at hand.
It makes sense to try to be one step ahead at all times, so we hope that the introduction of the MAGNUM 2, which was ordered to cover a fertilizing surface area of about 80 m3/h, can become the future standard on the market.

In conclusion, it can be said that the Magnum II for the Netherlands and for the Verkooyen company has entailed a massive revolution, which has benefited both the fertilization processes and Pieralisi's entry into the Northern European market.
