The "Olive Care" event was held last June 5 at the conference hall of the "Federico II" hotel in Jesi.
The meeting takes part of the PRO package of the OLIVE CARE maintenance program and had as key themes quality, risks in the olive oli mill, innovations in the olive oil sector in general and in particular of the Pieralisi world with the MyMill plant, illustrated and explained by Dr. Sofia Luchetti, Product Marketing Specialist - Food&Beverage in Pieralisi.
The event was attended by 40 olive oil companies, for a total of 115 participants from all over Italy, who had the opportunity to listen to two leading experts in the field. The first from the University of Perugia, Prof. Maurizio Servili, who spoke about "The Quality of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Relation to Technological Innovation"; the other from the University of Bologna, Prof. Tullia Gallina Toschi, who illustrated the "Possible Contaminations in the Olive Oil Mill. Safety aspects of the olive oil produced."
During the round table with all the speakers, there was no shortage of pleasant debates and interesting exchanges between all those present.
But there was certainly one common point: innovative machinery and effective maintenance go hand in hand to achieve superior olive oil quality.
