Spain leads meat consumption in the EU and is the fourth producer of polluting macro-farms.
Slurry reduction does not have a clear solution. Several pre-treatment or treatment systems are known to modify their physical and/or chemical characteristics in order to reduce the negative impact of slurry, to improve its efficiency and use, but the cost is very high and difficult for the farmer to assume.
Some farms have opted to expand the so-called storage ponds on their farms, so that they can keep the slurry stored for almost a year and then use it in the field near the farm. Although this is not an effective measure as there is still excess slurry and it also pollutes the air.
With our presence we want to continue making PIERALISI DECANTERS known as an environmental solution in nitrate-saturated areas, which complicate the balance between the nitrogen load generated by livestock farms and the number of hectares available for application as fertilizer, it is proposed to improve the origin of livestock droppings, by means of PIERALISI DECANTERS which are sufficiently efficient to reduce this nitrogen load. It also boosts the nutrient concentration to the solid fraction to reduce the amount of water to be transported and thus make an attractive product to be transported over longer distances.
